David Hardie

David Hardie is a talented designer who transforms wood and recycled materials into enchanting fantasy creations.

He has worked with his sister, Diana, on many creative projects, from designing Christmas decorations for shopping centres, to creating animated displays for tourist attractions.

Most recently, the siblings have joined forces to write and illustrate a series of children’s books about the Dittos of Dawlish, a magical race of elf-like creatures who look after wildlife and recycle items humans leave behind.

David lives with his wife, Philippa, near the sea in Devon.
